Sony Computer Entertainment has finally announced the release date for Driveclub, the racing game that was plunged into obscurity after delays prevented the game from being a PS4 launch title. The game will be hitting store shelves on October 7 of this year, as announced here in the game’s latest trailer:

You have to wonder how close Driveclub was to being completed back when they delayed it, given the fact that its release was pushed back nearly an entire year. Good job to Evolution Studios on waiting to pull the trigger on this one. May your racing game achieve Gran Turismo levels of success.
