The Cast of DRAGON BALL Z Dubs Over Classic Movie Scenes as Their Characters

If you thought you had seen the final form of Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, and the Dragon Ball Z gang, then you were woefully uninformed. Because this isn’t even their final form.

We can think of over 9,000 reasons (8,000 if you’re pedantic) why you would want to see Goku go toe to toe with Frieza one more time. Fortunately, you can do exactly that in Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F, which is in theaters now for a limited theatrical run. If the trailers were any indication, this film is absolutely bonkers, putting more jacked-up dudes fighting onscreen than we’ve ever seen before in a DBZ production. Seeing our favorite characters back on the big screen was a hoot, but it got us thinking, “What if our favorite Dragon Ball Z characters happened to star in other major motion pictures?”

Well, rather than resting on our laurels, we put voice actors Sean Schemmel (Goku/King Kai), Christopher Sabat (Vegeta/Piccolo), and Chris Ayres to in our own Hyperbolic Time Chamber where they brought scenes from Zoolander, Step Brothers, Independence Day and more to life as their classic characters. Let me be the first to tell you—some of these films will never be the same.

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F is in theaters now. And if you’d like to see the Nerdist crew go Super Saiyan and destroy our office, you can watch that right here:

What other classic movie scenes would you like to see the Dragon Ball Z crew voice over? Let us know in the comments below!
