Rowling were teaming up to bring us back to the world of Harry Potter in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, our nerdy brains have been whirring faster than the Golden Snitch as we tried to track down the details. So far, all that we know is that Warner Bros. wants to make the film a trilogy, Deathly Hallows director David Yates will helm the project, and J.K. Rowling herself will be writing the screenplay. But who could play the writer of the eponymous textbook, Newt Scamander? According to the latest intel, none other than the Eleventh Doctor, Matt Smith, is being eyed for the role. Considering that the Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) played Barty Crouch Jr., it only makes sense that they’d introduce even more Doctors to the Potter-verse.

Actually, chris’s was nine, David’s ten and Matt’s 11. The human version isn’t considered 11 even david said that.
Nooooooo David Tennant was only 10 not 11 and 12. The other regenerations meaning Chris-Peter don’t count John hurt as a Doctor due to him calling himself The War Doctor meaning there are only 12 doctors counting The War Doctor.
