Hey, while you’re planning your San Diego Comic-Con International schedule, and since you’ve already penciled — penned! — in the Nerdist Channel panel for Saturday at noon at the Hilton Bayfront Ballroom, here’s another thing you’ll want to attend: BBC America will have a Doctor Who panel and Q&A at Hall H of the Convention Center on Sunday, July 15th, 12:30-1:30 pm.
Who’ll be there? Oh, just Matt Smith, Karen Gillan, Steven Moffat, Executive Producer Caroline Skinner, and moderator — who else? — Chris Hardwick. And BBC America says they’ll be “bringing something very special with them to reveal to fans in Hall H.” I’ll wait here while you squee.
Okay, now, caught your breath? Good. Some of you, knowing how Hall H can be, will probably start queuing up right now. Can’t blame you. But there’s more. Four new Doctor Who specials — The Science of Doctor Who, The Women of Doctor Who, The Timey-Wimey Stuff of Doctor Who, and The Destinations of Doctor Who — are scheduled to air on Saturdays on BBC America beginning on August 4th at 9pm ET/PT. You’ll want to watch them, and you’ll also want to watch…
…THE NERDIST TV SPECIALS!!! They’re back, and the first and second of the new batch will premiere on Saturday, July 28th, The Nerdist: Comic-Con at 9 pm ET/PT and “The Nerdist: Tribute to Toys and Games” at 10 pm ET/PT. Then it’s The Nerdist: Tribute to Science on August 4th at 10 pm ET/PT, The Nerdist: Tribute to Nerd Girls on August 11th at 10 pm ET/PT, and The Nerdist: Tribute to Time Travel, featuring Tom Weston-Jones from BBC America’s new original series Copper, on August 18th at 10 pm ET/PT. WE WILL REMIND YOU OF THIS. Trust me.
That’s a lot of information to process, but I have faith in you. And I expect to see you at the Nerdist Channel panel on Saturday at noon, the Doctor Who panel at Hall H on Sunday, and in front of your TV sets for the Nerdist BBC America specials July 28th through August 18th. We will be taking attendance.
Does anyone know if someone from Doctor Who will be at NY Comic Con?

Unfortunately I can’t go to SDCC this year, but I made this to celebrate my love for the good doctor. I thought it was high time to remember his many faces.

How about New York City Comic Con?
The Nerdist: Tribute to Nerd Girls? Really? Really??
::disappointedface::
Can’t wait for the Nerdist specials (and, of course, Doctor Who) to be back!
Thanks for the advice! We plan on being in line at about 6 am.
Just 2 questions, good sir,
1.) Will Arthur Darvill be there as well?
2.) Can we expect Team Nerdist vs Team TARDIS in Chris’ All Star Celebrity Bowling Season 2?
Thanks
Will the Doctor Who Panel be going up as a podcast…or possibly broadcast on the nerdist channel.
Deanna: The sooner you fall in line, the better your chances. If possible, obtain your badges the night before. Next day fall in line as early as possible. No later than 8am.
