Disney XD Presents TWO MORE EGGS Shorts From HOMESTAR RUNNER Creators

Yesterday, Disney launched three premiere episodes of an animated shorts series called Two More Eggs on their Disney XD Youtube channel and on Watch Disney XD. The series, which will consist of 40 different shorts, was created, written, and animated by The Chapman Brothers. If anyone is not sure who that is, you would probably know them better as “the guys who created Homestar Runner.” A new short will be launched every Tuesday until the 40 episode run is up, and the series will premiere on the actual Disney XD channel later this year. Take a look at Disney XD’s press release description of Two More Eggs.

“A production of The Brothers Chaps’ Citywide Hoop Champs, Inc. in association with Disney Television Animation, each installment of “Two More Eggs” incorporates a variety of animation techniques, indicative of the brothers’ signature style, including flash, computer-generated imagery and animation mixed with live-action.”

For those who are wondering, do not fear, Matt and Mike Chapman will still be rolling out new content for Homestar Runner, which they have been writing, animating, and voicing since the website came into existence fifteen years ago. Some may think the Chapman brothers, and especially their sense of humor, are an odd fit for Disney, but this actually is not the first time they have worked with Disney TV Animation. Matt Chapman has written for Mickey Mouse, as well as the other Disney XD series Gravity Falls. Matt has also done voice acting in Gravity Falls, as well as Star vs. The Forces of Evil.
