Disney Offers a Rare Look Inside the Pixar Studios

As if anyone needed another reason to be watching the Disney YouTube channel, they recently gave the entire internet a behind the scenes tour of the Pixar Animation Studios. Digital sculptor for Pixar, Nick Pitera, led the tour, which was in the style of “choose your own adventure.” Fielding questions and taking directions from the video’s audience, Pitera gives us a look inside the Steve Jobs building on the Pixar campus.

Throughout the tour, we see a few of the Pixar character statues the building has, a custom decorated office, the recording studio where a lot of big name actors have lent their voices, and the Pixar employee store. Also, in a rare treat for both the audience and Pitera, we even get to go inside the insanely toy-filled office of Pixar head honcho, John Lasseter. We can’t help but feel bad for the office cleaning crew that has to dust all those toys and figurines. Wait, we take that back. That’s got to be the best cleaning job on the planet!

Of all the cool things in this video, we’ve certainly been inspired to somehow make our way to that employee store to get all those sweet, sweet Pixar goodies that are only available to employees. Who do we know at Disney that can get someone a Pixar track jacket in size XXL?

What’s your favorite part of the Pixar tour? Do you think they should have checked out different areas? Let’s discuss in the comments below!
