Move over, Adam Jensen, because there are some new cybernetically-enhanced folks in town. After a brand new teaser for Call of Duty: Black Ops III was revealed yesterday, one of the common responses a lot of people had to the video–which featured biohacking elements, artificial limbs, and more–was: “What is this, Deus Ex“? Well, it seems the public weren’t the only ones picking up on the similarities as the Deus Ex social media team and even the game’s Executive Art Director decided to join in on the fun, teasing Treyarch with a couple of hilarious responses.

Awwww, isn’t the fluffy little cyber hacker adorable? As if that wasn’t enough, executive art director Jonathan Jacues-Belletête also responded on Twitter with the following tweets:
Hey @Treyarch, Adam Jensen says welcome on the bandwagon! The liquor bar is at the back 😉 â Jonathan J-B (@Jonatchoo) April 23, 2015
We lied guyz. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided actually takes place on the Eastern Front during World War 2. We felt inspired â Jonathan J-B (@Jonatchoo) April 23, 2015
Touché! While we’ve yet to see the full reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops III–which is still two days away–you have to admit that the teaser the company released yesterday bears a striking resemblance to the world that Adam Jensen and his crew have been inhabiting for quite some time, right down to the general public’s growing fear of augmented soldiers.
