The awesomely talented Deanna Rooney has a new short, “Bear Wrestler,” featured on Nickelodeon’s website, and it is great. We can’t embed the video here, but we’ll give you the link here so you can head over and give it a watch.
Who doesn’t love a little bear wrestling? And even better than that are friends who truly get that you should shoot for your dreams even if it completely goes against script. We particularly enjoy the flaming ham and cheese, the fact that Patty is totally there to catch her buddy Bobo when it’s necessary, and that she gets that sometimes you just gotta spread your wings and fly even if you’re a gigantic bear with little to no chance of a gentle landing. Plus, Patty sees the cool talent that her pal brings to the stage even after he “loses†the crowd.
Rooney created “Bear Wrestler” with Six Point Harness last year. She’s married to one half of the sister-wives, Jonah Ray, who has featured her work on his social channels before, so you might be familiar with some of her stuff already.
