DC Comics Opens HARLEY’S LITTLE BLACK BOOK

Ever since her introduction on Batman: The Animated Series, Harley Quinn has been a fan favorite character. And the character is currently peaking in her popularity thanks to the latest Harley Quinn ongoing series at DC Comics—plus that whole Suicide Squad movie that’s coming out next year.

With that in mind, DC has announced plans to launch a brand new Harley Quinn title that will run bi-monthly starting in December. Harley’s Little Black Book will be written by the Harley Quinn creative team: Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti, with Conner slated to be the first artist on the series.

Harley’s Little Black Book is a team-up book that pairs Harley Quinn with other heroes and villains from across the DC Universe. First up is none other than Wonder Woman herself—and she seems annoyed that Harley has somehow swapped their costumes in the first cover by Conner.

After Conner’s stint on Harley’s Little Black Book, other artists will have guest stints as the lineup of guest characters changes. To celebrate the second Harley Quinn ongoing series, DC’s variant covers for December will feature Harley’s Little Black Book as its theme. The variant covers lined up for December include:

  • HARLEY’S LITTLE BLACK BOOK #1 – J. Scott Campbell
  • JUSTICE LEAGUE #47 – Jim Lee
  • JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA – Joe Madureira
  • THE FLASH #47 – Terry Dodson
  • GREEN ARROW #47 – Tim Sale
  • WONDER WOMAN #47 – Amanda Conner
  • SUPERMAN #47 – Lee Bermejo
  • BATMAN #47 – Alex Ross
  • HARLEY QUINN #23 – Bruce Timm
  • GREEN LANTERN #47 – Darwyn Cooke
