DC Collectibles Debuts BATMAN V SUPERMAN, ARKHAM KNIGHT, and More at Comic-Con

For the most part, San Diego Comic-Con is four days of non-stop panels, merchandise-filled booths, and overall excitement punctuated by brief bouts of frantically applying hand sanitizer. For the very lucky few, it actually starts Wednesday with Preview Night, a chance to get a taste of all the action the evening before. I was one of the lucky ones, and was able to check out all of the new DC Collectibles that will be coming out in 2015-16. I will give you fair warning: say goodbye to your wallet. Or at least its contents. I guess you can technically keep the leather husk that once housed your hard-earned cash.

The lines represented in this collection include Arkham Knight, Flash, Arrow, The Designer Series featuring Lee Bermejo and Darwyn Cooke, DC Icons, Batman vs. Superman, DC Comics Bombshells, and Batman: The Animated Series.

You can check out the entire gallery below, but I picked out my top 5 favorites.

Man-Bat looks amazing, and the armored Batsuit up close? I think Superman is in trouble come next year.

These are just the item we are allowed to show you! Still to come from DC Collectibles are a new designer series from fan favorite Batman artist Greg Capullo, a new wave of Batman: The Animated Series figures features Harley Quinn and Clayface, an Arkham Knight two-pack of Batgirl and Oracle, and my personal favorite, a lifesize replica of Captain Cold’s Cold-Gun from The Flash.

If you are clamoring for these amazing collectibles, fear not! Here is the release schedule so you can budget your allowances accordingly.

For those of you that are here in San Diego this weekend, make sure you pick up you exclusive, a Batman Figure based on a Jim Lee Pencil drawing.

Blue Line Figure

This cool-looking addition to your collection will run you 40 dollars for the regular version, or 300 for the limited edition that includes hand-drawn sketches by Lee himself!

So what do you think? Which is your favorite? Is this enough to get you ready for SDCC, or are you clamoring for even more? Let me know on Twitter or in the comments below.
