DRAGON BALL Z Cosplayer Flies the Nimbus Through the Streets of Taipei

The goal of any cosplayer is to make a creation feel as if the character they are portraying has separated from their property and come to life right in front of everyone’s eyes. From the details of the costume itself to the accessories that go with it, the more the better. Cosplayer and YouTuber Yes Ranger has taken that extra step with his Goku cosplay. Rather than put effort into Goku’s staff, his weapon of choice, he decided to go a different route. As you can see in the video above, he’s created Goku’s Flying Nimbus cloud.

Rolling around the streets of Taipei, Yes Ranger is sporting the classic orange gi Goku is known for in both Dragon Ball and arguably the most popular of all the different series, Dragon Ball Z (it’s probably unarguable, but we like to make room for discussion). He took a hoverboard and covered it to look like Goku’s favorite mode of transportation, the Flying Nimbus cloud. I like how it is easy to tell who is a fan of Dragon Ball in the video by the looks of either confusion or excitement on onlookers’ faces. And in the classic “What the?!” fashion Dragon Ball fans are used too, the video ends with him shooting up into the air and throwing a Kamehameha wave at someone eating a snack. I am assuming he had it coming.

You can check out more of Yes Rangers videos on his YouTube channel here.

So what do you think? Was this a great use of the hoverboard or did he take a real risk covering it with what looks like pretty flammable material? Let me know on Twitter or go Super Saiyan in the comments below.
