Craig Drake’s STAR WARS Art On Display at Hero Complex Gallery

The best word to describe Craig Drake’s art is striking. His illustrations have an almost minimalist quality but manage to be bold at the same time. Drake uses just a handful of colors to build his images, and he pulls inspiration from all over pop culture. He has created prints featuring characters from Star Wars, Die Hard, Ghost in the Shell, Lord of the Rings, and more, and you can see his work on display at the Hero Complex Gallery in Los Angeles.

The Craig Drake Solo Show runs through April 27 and features vivid interpretations of icons such as Han Solo, Gandalf, and Buffy. Besides offering limited edition screen prints, Drake also has variants on brushed aluminum. I’d be okay with covering my walls with all of his art.

See the art on display at the Hero Complex Gallery, 2020 South Robertson Blvd., Studio D, Los Angeles or purchase prints in their store.
