Countdown to Terror with the MONSTER MACHINE Poster

Something spooky this way comes to the Nerdist Channel this Wednesday – Andrew Bowser’s love letter to classic horror movies, Monster Machine – and, like a faulty Ghostbusters trap, we can hardly contain our excitement, let alone egregious amounts of ectoplasmic activity. So rather than lose our collective shit all at once, we’re trying to dole out the thrills and chills as part of your balanced breakfast from beyond the pale. Today, we’re proud to present the glorious hi-res Monster Machine poster, illustrated by Irish artists Declan Shalvey and Jordie Bellaire whose work you may have seen in comics like Deadpool, Conan, Manhattan Projects and much more.

Doesn’t that make you want a co-op Monster Machine survival horror spin-off game too? But wait, there’s more! No, not a brand new Ronco Food Processor; it’s something even better. If you’ve been watching those bewitching beauties, The Terror Twins, you may have noticed a neat little technical difficulties end card. Well, that card comes from none other than Adventure Time’s original lead character designer Phil Rynda, who is the Phil that inspired  Adventure Time’s running Phil Face gag.

So there you have it! Stay tuned tomorrow for a top 10 list from Andrew Bowser that horror aficionados won’t want to miss and be sure to subscribe to the Nerdist Channel so you don’t wake up in a cold sweat on Wednesday to realize you could be watching Monster Machine already. What do you think of the artwork? Let us know in the comments below!
