Cosplay Friday #182 – Ursula, Queen of Hearts, and More by Sweets4aSweet Cosplay

A cosplayer’s personality goes a long way towards making his or her costumes stand out. Your hard work and craftsmanship is more likely to be appreciated and noticed if you wear it with pride and joy rather than creeping close to walls at conventions and staying out of the spotlight. I don’t know Sweets4aSweet Cosplay, a.k.a. Candy, personally, but her spark shines in all the photos of her costumes. She infuses her poses with sass and spunk and other words that don’t begin with the letter “s.” This attitude is perfect for an Ursula costume:

She could rule the seas and everything else as far as I’m concerned.

Candy’s costumes all look to be crafted with care. She crafts everything else from armor and jewelry to gowns. Make the jump to the gallery to see some other fantastic examples of Candy’s costumes. You’ll see her dressed in Fiona’s warrior outfit and as the Fairy Godmother from Shrek, the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, and Miss Piggy as Leia from The Muppet Show. Then, keep up with all her latest projects by following her on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.

Do you cosplay or take photos of cosplayers? Then I want to see your portfolio so we can talk about highlighting you in a future Cosplay Friday gallery. If you’re interested, I need you to email me at [email protected] with photos you’d like me to feature and be sure to provide credits for the cosplayers or photographers for each image–bonus points if you include links to Facebook pages or websites.
