When people wait until the last minute, they fall into one of two categories: a procrastinator, or a “person who works well under pressure.” Walk into any college library the day before a term paper is due and you can see great examples of both types. Conan O’Brien falls into the second category. He forgot to have his staff get an Easter Bunny costume to help celebrate the holiday. Still wanting to do right by his audience, Conan was able to find the next best thing.
“When in doubt, go with Spider-Man.” That is advice that anyone and everyone should be using. In what looks like a combination Easter/April Fool’s Joke, Spider-Man dressed as an Easter Bunny ran through the crowd handing out socks (the actor has an egg allergy, as this new version of Spidey’s theme song tells us).
The defining touch has to be the pink webbed bow tie. When you have to utilize a last-minute Spider-Man costume to fill in for the Easter Bunny, you might as well go for broke. Luckily for both Conan and Spidey, they did things right, as they received a great review from “Jesus” himself. So if Spidey has Easter, what about the rest of the Avengers? Thor or Hulk would make a great Santa, depending what part of him you wanted to focus on. Arbor Day would go to Groot. We can’t think of who would get Fourth of July. It’s like it’s right in front of our face, but we just can’t put our finger on it.
