This past Valentine’s Day, we told you about an amazing artist named PJ McQuade. who made a series of greeting cards featuring some unexpected pop culture favorites sharing their romantic feelings. Now, thanks to Geeks Are Sexy, we’ve learned that McQuade is back with an incredible holiday selection of not only Christmas cards, but several geeky ornaments for your Christmas tree as well. Ever wanted to freak out a loved one with a Pennywise Christmas greeting? Or decorate the tree with Quint’s boat from Jaws? Now you can make that happen!
There are examples from across the entire spectrum of beloved nerd properties here, ranging from fan favorites like Game of Thrones, Jurassic Park, and of course Star Wars, to cult classics like Labyrinth and Twin Peaks. And worry not: everyone’s favorite holiday classic Die Hard is included too!
These cards are a labor of love for the artist, who told us, “I love creating these cards, and imagining the reactions people will have when they give them, when they get them, and when the recipient opens them. I put of lot of time and focus into the main front imagery, but the insides are as crucial. A chance for a surprise, a smile, a laugh, a memorable moment between two people.”
