Chris Hemsworth Vents About Being Left Out of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

Amid the dozen or so heroes that are set to duke it out in Captain America: Civil War, arguably the two strongest and most powerful are complete no-shows: Thor and Hulk. Now, this isn’t so bad, because they’ll both appear in the next Thor movie, but Chris Hemsworth—the actor who plays Thor, of course—isn’t too pleased about the omission, according to a new cell phone video on Joe and Anthony Russo’s Facebook page.

Admittedly, it’d give either side too much of an advantage if a god or a giant green rage monster were part of its squad. But while most people can understand the lack of Hammer ‘n’ Hulk in the movie, Hemsworth tongue-in-cheek-ily maintains there must have been some mistake…or maybe he’s no longer worthy! Nah, just kidding, he totally is. The members of Team Cap and Team Iron Man just done messed up something fierce by not asking “the two biggest, strongest Avengers” to join the fight.

In a cast as funny as Marvel’s starring lineup, Hemsworth’s sense of humor is often overshadowed thanks to his character’s earnestness, and the fact that speaks like he’s in a Shakespearean drama. But every time Hemsworth appears in something comedic, he bashes it into the stratosphere like Thor himself taking a swing at a Frost Giant. And even though the video is staged, we like the idea that Hemsworth really possesses the strength and Mjolnir-summoning abilities of a Norse god. I mean, who says he doesn’t?
