Check Out a New Clip and Poster From MARVEL’S AGENT CARTER

With the first half of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s second season now concluded, all eyes are turning to the latest addition to the Marvel Television side of the MCU, Agent Carter. Set in the years following the events of World War II, the new series will follow the adventures of Peggy Carter during the early days of what would one day become the Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. Now, with the premiere of the 7-week event only a few weeks away, Marvel and ABC have finally unveiled a new clip from the first episode:

It’s just a dialogue scene, but we really love the idea of Peggy leading a double life she has to protect her friends from. [Editor’s Note: It’s all very Mad Men meets Alias.] In Captain America: The First Avenger, Peggy was very much a soldier that didn’t need to hide who she was, but now with the men back from war, she must take on a whole new alias in order to do what she does best, kick-ass. We can’t wait.

Oh, and did we mention there’s also a brand new poster to check out?

On top of Agent Carter’s very notable badassery (see above, folks), we’re also just excited to see some expansion take place in the world of Marvel Television. Coulson’s great and all, but the company can definitely stand to up the ante on its weekly offerings, and Agent Carter is a great place to start.

Agent Carter premieres Tuesday, January 6th at 8/7c on ABC.

I’m sure some people did.  It’s a fairly natural thing to do if you don’t have a handkerchief ready and you don’t want spittle on your hands.  Not everyone bases their habits on the advice of experts… some people just do stuff the way that feels right to them… how do you think the vampire cough came about?  Actually… now I really want to know how it got a name and the backing of health officials.
