Forget chocolate bunnies for Easter, it’s all about chocolate Benedict Cumberbatch. This life-size homage to the Sherlock actor is made completely out of Belgian milk chocolate and took eight people 250 hours to make.
UKTV commissioned the life-sized chocolate to celebrate the launch of drama content on its on-demand service. In a poll, they asked 2,000 women to name Britian’s “dishiest†dramatic actor and Cumberbatch won with 12% of the vote.
Standing at a dashing six-feet tall and weighing in at 40kg aka six stone (for Americans that’s 88 pounds) the sculpture will be on display in all it’s chocolately glory at Westfield Stratford City on Good Friday. Should you visit the edible statue, there’s already a hashtag to share pics: #chocobatch.
