Folks, it ain’t 1938 no more, as evidenced in this weekend’s biggest resurrection (outside of that JC fella): Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. After years of speculation, interest, and anticipation, the Zack Snyder flick is finally here, and it’s got more than a few Easter eggs up its sleeve. Needless to say there are mega spoilers comin’ for you in this post and today’s episode of Nerdist News — don’t say we didn’t warn ya!

From Jimmy Olsen’s crazy CIA agent-gone-kablewwy, Anatoli Knyazev’s KGBeast coming into play, Mat-Bat, a Metallo reference, nods to The Dark Knight, The Death and Return of Superman, a crazy future-Flash appearance that may or may not have been a reference to Injustice, whatever the heck was going on in that newly released deleted scene and more, there’s enough Easter eggs in this thing to fill up a multiverse of films.
