Halloween is just around the corner, and that means it’s time to put up your spookiest decorations and throw a party! In fact, we’ve come across the perfect way to set the stage for your supernatural celebrations: the Burning Hand Candle.
This beautifully macabre piece of art came to our attention through Boing Boing, and it is created and sold by CreepyCandles on Etsy. Appropriately enough, the Bleeding Hand Candle is hand-made, and each of the five fingers can be lit. As the candle burns, the waxy skin melts away, creating the illusion of blood from the red wax that drips down from the fingers.
Oh, it burns all the way through. By the time that the flames have exhausted the wax, all that will remain is the metal skeleton hand beneath the surface. Sadly, it’s not very useful as a candle after you’ve let it go that far. But it will still be a decoration that can up the creep factor.
