Bond Drives Again in SPECTRE Car Chase Video

Let’s face it (heaven help you if you aren’t ready to face it), the James Bond movies wouldn’t be the same without some kind of vehicle chase, and usually and most prominently that manifests as an automobile one. The 007 series is known for having some intense and astonishing car stunts and high-speed maneuvers that only an agent with a licence to kill should attempt. Ones that stand out to me so far in the series include Goldfinger, On Her Majesty’s Secret Service, The Man with the Golden Gun (despite it being silly and ruined by Sheriff J.W. Pepper), The Living Daylights, and Quantum of Solace, which actually has the distinction of having more chases in more vehicles than actual scenes that further the plot.

James Bond’s always driven a cool car and it’s mostly been an Aston Martin. That trend doesn’t change here at all as we see in this production video from the filming of Spectre which tells us about a high-speed chase through the streets of Rome between two cars that have never been seen before. The first, Bond’s Aston, which in this case is a DB10 (five better than the classic ’64 variety of old), and a Jaguar C-X75, driven by new Bond villain Mr. Hinx, played by Dave Bautista. From what Bautista and director Sam Mendes tell us, it’s going to be a pretty intense chase with two of the fastest cars in the world, and even this short video makes it look great.

Sure, these cars are supercars, but are they as super as THIS Supercar?
