BOB’S BURGERS: THE COMIC BOOK Coming Out This Summer

Dynamite Comics has partnered up with the wonderful Fox animated series known as Bob’s Burgers to make Bob’s Burgers: The Comic Book. In case any of you Belcher faithful were worried, all of the writers, animators, and producers of Bob’s Burgers will be completely in charge of the whole process, as you can clearly see from the first issue covers and pages featured below.

Getting into comic book panels is definitely a great milestone for the series currently in its fourth season, with a fifth one already ordered. Bob’s Burgers is actually the third Fox animated series to get its very own comic book; both The Simpsons and Futurama actually started their own respective comic books years ago.

Loren Bouchard, the creator of Bob’s Burgers, is thrilled for the release of these comics, commenting, “If you like Bob’s Burgers and you like comic books then you may feel like you’re living in one of the greatest times in human history because Bob’s Burgers and comic books are coming together in the form of the Bob’s Burgers Comic Book. But of course we could really mess it up. Then you’d feel like you were living in one of the worst times in human history.”

From the titles included in just the first issue, this should be on your list to pull from your local comic book store. They include “Louise’s Unsolved Mysteries”, “Tina’s Erotic Friend Fiction”, “A Gene Belcher Original Musical”, “Letters Written by Linda”, and “Bob’s Burgers of The Day”. Bob’s Burgers: The Comic Book is set to roll out this August. In case you’re afraid of not getting issue #1, it will be available to buy both in print and digitally.

Perhaps, if this does well enough, it will be just one step closer to getting select Fatburger franchises to re-brand as Bob’s Burgers again.
