HEROES OF THE STORM Trailer Teases Epic Two-Player Hero and Arena Mode

If there’s one thing we’ve already learned from this year’s BlizzCon in Anaheim, it’s that the Blizzard Entertainment folks sure know how to make exciting trailers. The trailer for their long-awaited Warcraft movie looked truly amazing, and now we’ve got one for the next wave of their insanely popular and franchise-colliding hero-brawler, Heroes of the Storm. It may have only just premiered officially this past summer, but it’s already got some expansions that look pretty damned amazing.

The trailer (above) begins with the introduction of Greymane, a bearded guy with a sword and a musket pistol who also just so happens to be a werewolf. I almost don’t need to go on, the guy looks so badass. But the trailer does go on and we get to meet Lunara, a centaur warrior woman who looks to be an expert with a spear/pike situation. We then get to see two new fighting areas in Towers of Doom—guarded by the ghostly Grave Keeper—and the aptly named The Arena, where players can meet and presumably beat each other senseless.

While this all looks great, the thing that really will get people butting heads (literally, perhaps) is the character Cho’Gall, a two-headed Orc warrior. Two heads, yes, but that translates into two players and no you did not read that wrong: he truly is one character controlled by two different people. No doubt that will add some unique challenges to the gameplay.

Which character or area are you most excited about? What’s been your favorite Heroes of the Storm aspect so far? Let us know in the comments below!
