In the first two episodes of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s sophomore season, Coulson and his team spent a hefty amount of time working to stay one step ahead of both Hydra and Col. Talbot as they did what they do best: protect people from the shadows. Now equipped with a quinjet, the team has a fighting chance to stop all the threats that are popping up around the world in the wake of the spy organization’s dissolution. However, what they don’t know is the 1940s relic they’ve been trying to acquire is now in the hands of Kyle McLachlan, a/k/a Skye’s long lost father.
This Tuesday, in “Making Friends and Influencing Peopleâ€, Coulson and the gang are in a race with the ever-so-elusive Hydra to see who can get to a gifted individual first, one Donnie Gill a/k/a Blizzard. However, during their free-for-all, things take a turn for the disastrous when Simmons returns from her absence only to be caught in the crossfire.
It was a foregone conclusion that Donnie would be returning at some point this season because Dylan Minnette is far too high profile a young actor to only use in a single episode. Not to mention that Blizzard would be wasted as a mere one-off character. Also, Simmons is back! But will she be the same old happy-go-lucky Simmons we know and love? We’ll have to wait and see.
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on ABC.

“Now there’s proof”?
Was there some sort of conspiracy theory stating that a lead character from the show that is prominently displayed in advertising and in attendance with the cast at SDCC somehow NOT going to show up this season?
What 2nd episode? I never got to see a second episode.. my dvr didnt record it on prime time like it should have and i have it scheduled to record as well.. I have nothing..
