BIZARRE STATES: LOS ANGELES Shows Off LA’s Spooky Forests, Haunted Theaters, and More

After three years and over 150 episodes talking about the scariest, spookiest, and strangest sites and stories America has to offer, Jessica Chobot and Andrew Bowser are leaving the podcast studio and taking Bizarre States on the road. And in their debut season experiencing the macabre firsthand, they’re seeking out the most devilish places in the City of Angels.

This promo for the show’s first season, Bizarre States: Los Angeles, proves if you want to find the weirdest America has to offer, you send people who really–really–know something about being weird.

This year Jessica and Andrew will be exploring the terrifying Devil’s Gate Dam in Pasadena, checking into the haunted rooms of the Queen Mary ocean liner in Long Beach, looking for ghosts at the Warner Grand Theatre in San Pedro, and much more. They’ll be setting forth on their hunt for the haunted every Tuesday at our interactive online Alpha community, starting this week on September 26th. If you’re not a member, now’s the perfect time to sign up, especially since the first month is completely free.

It’s at least got to me a more pleasant experience than when Jessica discovered that what she had thought was a giant dead frog was in fact a giant living frog. (To be honest, we don’t blame her for freaking out.)

Which episode of the Bizarre States Podcast is your favorite? What story they discussed on it would you like to see these two actually visit? Haunt our comments section below with your best suggestions.
