Become the Master of the Collecting World with this Life-Size BATMAN Statue

Action figures have always been an integral part of merchandising when it comes to Batman movies. From the 1989 Tim Burton film to March’s Batman V Superman, you can always find a plethora of toys at Target or Wal-Mart. However, Hot Toys, the high-end collectible company out of Hong Kong, has decided that even their 1/6th scale figures aren’t enough this time around. They want their figures to feel so life-like that they are now making them life-SIZE. In the first of their “Life-Size Masterpiece Series,” Hot Toys presents the armored Batman from BvS.

Life Size Batman

The statue stands at 1.95 meters tall (2.2 meters with the base).

It has an armored head and eyes that illuminate. The lower half of Batman’s face is detailed down to the last hair on his five o’clock shadow. The helmet doesn’t come off, so please don’t try to catch a glimpse of Ben Affleck underneath.

The statue also comes with a fabric cape and a light up base adorned with the BvS logo. You can check out more of the statue in the gallery below. As far as price, nothing has been released at the time of publication, but don’t expect it to be an impulse buy. Sideshow Collectibles, Hot Toys’ U.S. distributor, has a life-size statue of the T-800 Endoskeleton that is currently running at $6,000. For those mega Bat-fans out there, it may be time to consult your financial advisor.

So what do you think? Is your collection ready for a life-size version of the Dark Knight? Are you trying to figure out what shelf at Ikea could possibly fit him? Let me know on Twitter or sound of in the comments below.
