The release of Disney and Marvel’s Big Hero 6 is only a month away. We’ll be able to see Baymax and the heroes in action soon, and I can’t wait. And yes, as far as I’m concerned, Baymax is the main character of the film and not Hiro Hamada. Sorry, Hiro, but Baymax is so adorable I can’t handle it. Anyway, the Poster Posse has teamed up with Disney to release some stunning fan-made posters for the animated movie. Flipping through the posters makes me feel even more pumped about seeing the film.
If you haven’t heard of the Poster Posse, the collective is comprised of dozens of artists from around the world. They contribute creative fan art to each of Poster Posse’s projects, and past subjects have included Guardians of the Galaxy and Batman’s 75th anniversary. I’m a fan of what they do because I enjoy seeing the variety of styles and interpretations all the artists come up with, and I’m glad companies are taking notice and collaborating with them.

Poster Posse just released its first batch of Big Hero 6 art, and they’ll be unveiling six pieces every week until the film’s November 7th release. I’m especially hung up on the above poster by Khoa Ho because it has a children’s picture book sort of vibe. Note the soccer ball in the bottom left. Other posters in this release prominently feature Baymax in full armor and a little bit of Hiro. This supports my feelings about Baymax being the lead.
