Oscar Isaac and BB-8 Urge You to Join STAR WARS’ Force for Change

If the opening scenes of Star Wars: The Force Awakens taught us anything, it’s that Poe Dameron and BB-8 make for the greatest onscreen duo in the history of cinema (hyperbole notwithstanding). The fact that they got separated so early on and only reunited toward the end made us long for their team-up all the more. Sure, Finn was a good stand-in in the Bromance, but come on, we all agree Dameron needs his BB.

Any opportunity to see the little ball droid with Oscar Isaac is pretty great, which is why this week’s edition of Star Wars: Force for Change is especially adorable. Isaac and 8 (is that the short version of his name?) tell everybody about how, this week, the campaign sponsored by CrowdRise is giving fans a genuinely one-of-a-kind opportunity. On top of matching donations up to $1,000,000 to one of four great charities, Force for Change is giving the first four people who raise or donate up to $500 a chance to partake in something truly amazing.

Those four people will be entered into a drawing to win a prize pack including their very own Sphero BB-8 signed by both J.J. Abrams and Kathleen Kennedy. In addition to that, the top fundraiser this week has the chance to win a tour of Lucasfilm in San Francisco and will get a private screening of their favorite Star Wars movie while there. I mean, can you imagine? That’s like listening to Beatles albums at Abbey Road! It’s beyond cool.

There will be more and more chances to win and feel good about donating the rest of this month leading up to Star Wars Day, which is of course May 4th. The four charities including in the Force for Change are U.S. Fund for UNICEF in support of UNICEF Kid Power, American Red Cross, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, and Make-A-Wish®. To contribute and enter, just go to CrowdRise.com/ForceForChange. What’re you waiting for? Do Poe Dameron and BB-8 proud.

Wanna see us break down the Rogue One trailer? You’re welcome.
