Bana nana nana nana na Batman! When you think of bananas, you think of Batman. Well, maybe not, but on a cold wintery night a toasty dessert sounds just grand. Add a touch of Batman and itâs darn near irresistible.
These banana s’mores are often cooked over campfires but they’re also easily made at home in a toaster oven. A split banana filled with crumbled graham crackers and marshmallows toasted in the oven is one thing, but add a chocolate bat signal and the Caped Crusader will be at your door in no time. Mmm, tastes like justice.
Batman Banana S’mores
(serves two)
ingredients:
– 2 ounces chocolate
– 2 bananas
– 2 graham crackers
– 2 marshmallows
In a microwave safe bowl, melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring at 15 second intervals so that it doesnât burn. Once itâs a smooth consistency pour into the Batman mold, tapping to release air bubbles. Place in the freezer to set.
Slice the bananas down the middle and push open slightly.
Crumble in the graham crackers and cut the marshmallows to fit.
Wrap in foil and toast in a toaster oven for 4 minutes until the marshmallow has softened.
Release the chocolate symbols from the mold and place into the centers of the warm bananas.
As the chocolate starts to melt, serve.
