Bacon Fest Includes Cook-Off and a Bacon-Infused Wedding Ceremony

Do you love bacon so much you want to incorporate it into your wedding? This pork-filled dream could come true if you attend the Blue Ribbon Bacon Festival’s Extreme Bacon Bite Challenge in Las Vegas.

Held at Rain in Palms Casino Resort on November 14, there will be a chef’s competition that allows bacon-lovers from around the world will show up to consume an estimated 15,000 pounds of bacon. That’s a lot of pristine porcine.

It wouldn’t be Vegas without an Elvis costume competition. After all, the King’s favorite sandwich contained pork, so you know there’s bound to be peanut butter banana bacon sandwiches at the event. Beware of the hunka hunka burning heartburn.

As if a bacon binge, Elvis impersonators, and the thrill of Vegas wasn’t enough, the Blue Ribbon Bacon Fest is offering up a once in a lifetime opportunity, for the true, extreme bacon fans. Festival goers will have a chance to tie the knot in a bacon-infused wedding ceremony put on by the United Church of Bacon. Yes, that’s a real organization.
