It’s the day we’ve all been waiting for! Thirty years in the making, Wednesday October 21, 2015 marks the day Doc Brown and Marty McFly travel to in Back to the Future Part II, and the whole world is celebrating. The brands prominently featured in the film, like Pepsi and USA Today, are getting in on the fun, recreating futuristic props as they appeared in the film. The original cast, Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, and Lea Thompson, are reuniting for promotional TV appearances that will make your inner child squeal with delight. And of course Japan is celebrating, having opened 5 pop-up cafes serving Back to the Future themed foods, like a piece of cake that looks like a DeLorean and a hoverboard cookie. So now that we’ve all traveled 30 years into the future, albeit at the normal speed of time, which of the film’s predictions have come true? And which missed the mark?
