  2. Bob says:

    Howard the Duck

  3. Matt says:

    Iron Man!

  4. I don’t think you can deny Ron Perlman as HELLBOY!
The visuals in the Hellboy movies were all around amazing, and the crown of it all I feel was how Hellboy was portrayed and played … the likeness was amazing …

  5. Symone R says:

    Iron Man!

  6. Tony Pagan says:

I’m going to stray from the usual and go with Rorschach. Flawless transition from page to screen.

  8. Kyle says:

    Captain America

  9. Dan says:

Wolverine’s MIB costume from the deleted scene in The Wolverine.

  10. Scott says:

Captain America … hands down. They even improved on the original.

  11. Yanic says:

    Iron man

  12. Nick Fury looks as though he stepped right out of Ultimates #1.

  13. Nick Fury looks like he stepped right out of Ultimates #1.

  14. Chris Ryan says:

Iron Man is easy because the costume is the image. For me, the bigger challenge has been Captain America, because his essence comes from within, and Chris Evans nailed it, he carries the various Cap costumes with dignity and earnest honor. That’s an accomplishment.

  15. For me it has to be Peter Parker’s Spider-Man costume in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. The way they brought the friendliness and power which that costume represents to life is nothing short of beautiful. Those white eyes, those web shooters, and the practical aesthetic taken from the first film all add to something even greater.

  16. Amy says:

I think Daniel Clowes’s Enid Coleslaw from Ghost World was the best comic-to-screen portrayal of any character.

  17. megan says:

Iron man or nick fury? Both are notable because the live action character has defined changes to the written characters.

  18. Deadpool… I mean Barakapool… Nuff said.

  19. Deadpool… I mean Barakapool. Nuff said.

  20. Thomas says:

Iron Man has had some of the best transitions.  My favorite thing about them is that they keep updating them in the movies just like they do in the comics.  Unlike a lot of heroes, his look changes a LOT, which is awesome to see happen in movies too.

  21. Best comic to movie outfit translation? I gotta go with the first Captain America. Sure, it didn’t look like the comic, but it had a realistically utilitarian feel that I think translates much better than the version from The Avengers.

  22. Best comic to movie translation? I gotta go with the the first Captain America. Sure, it didn’t look like the comic, but it had an actual realistically utilitarian appearance to it. I prefer it over the costume from The Avengers.

  23. Jordan says:

The best comic to screen transformation of a character and costume is Loki in the Avengers and Thor films. Villains all too often are designed to either impart brute force or flashy intimidation, but the characters underneath are static and stoic. Loki, who frankly has looked silly over the years in comics, looks every bit like Thor’s equal. His costume has elegance, flair, and a slick authority hemmed into it. Tom Hiddleston, of course, imparts all that to the character, but once he’s in costume, he *is* Loki. The outfit is so perfect you don’t even have to stop and think about it. No clever emblems or distractions, just a great outfit that brings the character to life.

  24. A-Jay says:

Best MCU Costume Translation? Gotta be X-Men 1, that scene in the BlackBird; Cyclops “What? Would you prefer Yellow Spandex…?”   paved the way for the Cinematic Versions to veer from their Comic Origins & still be cool & the same time…!

  25. Rorschach was amazing i Watchmen. Loved to see his facemask come to life… Litteraly.

  26. Josh Atkins says:

I HAVE to go with Iron Man. I was blown away by how well they were able to translate the armor to “real life”.

  27. Josh Atkins says:

I have to go with Iron Man. I was blown away by how well they were able to translate.

  28. Derek Collins says:

Jim Carrey’s Riddler *muah perfect outfit

  29. Bry Kotyk says:

Pretty far from the best *movie*, but I have to give it to Spidey in The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Bang-on perfect as far as a live-action Spider-Man costume goes. Very comic-accurate, with those awesome kinda-buggy eyes.

  30. James says:

Hands down Thor was the best comic to movie. Not only does chris hemsworth actually look like a Norse god but the armour was perfect

  31. I’m going to have to say The Amazing Spider-Man 2 or Iron Man 2.

  32. Phill j says:

I would have to say iron man 2

  33. Andrew says:

Don’t make me choose their all awesome.

  34. Regan says:

    Orgasmo!

  35. Jason Durbin says:

    Iron Man was perfect!

  36. Jason says:

    Iron Man was perfect!

  37. Deadpool… Just kidding , it was Blade (not wade 🙁 )
