In almost any Arnold Schwarzenegger movie, things are going to blow up. He knows it, we know it, and it’s just one of the things that we love about him. Even some of Schwarzenegger’s comedy films have explosions!

That’s why it’s fitting that Schwarzenegger himself has released the ultimate supercut of explosions from long career in Hollywood, starting with Hercules in New York and going through Sabotage. Terminator Genisys was not included, but there are clips from the original Terminator trilogy, Total Recall, The Running Man, Predator, Commando, True Lies, Last Action Hero, and all of the classic Arnold films!

Schwarzenegger and his team also came up with a set of rules to determine which explosions made it into his supercut.

“Explosions were counted frame by frame based on every instance of an actual explosion.

This includes repeated explosions, as well as explosions within explosions. Explosions that continued through an edit were only counted once.

An honest attempt was made to count every explosion based on these rules.

In some cases an educated guess was made.”

The result is 32 minutes of awesomeness that go by amazingly quickly. Now, there is a point to all of this cinematic carnage. Schwarzenegger commissioned the video to promote his “Blow Sh*t Up With Arnold” contest to benefit After-School All-Stars. Through that contest, fans have the opportunity to “be flown to Los Angeles to blow sh*t up with Arnold Schwarzenegger and a team of pyrotechnicians” and “throw a grenade, fire a rocket launcher, blow up a car and so much more.”

Sounds like a good time!
