While many of us Riverdale fans are in deep withdrawal now that season two has ended, and we have to seemingly wait forever for season three to hit this fall on the CW, we still have the adventures of Archie, Jughead, Betty and Veronica and the rest of the Pop’s Diner crew in their original home: in the pages of comic books. And the comic book adventures of the Riverdale gang are, in their own way, as wild as anything on television screens, give or take a masked serial killer here and a demented biker gang there.
The events of the upcoming Archie #31, which hits comic shops on June 6, follows up on the recent story threads unfolding at the recent Riverdale High Spring Dance, and you just know how those Riverdale High dances are always filled with all kinds of drama. The upcoming issue is brought to us from the stellar creative team of writers Mark Waid and Ian Flynn, and artists Audrey Mok, Kelly Fitzpatrick, and Jack Morelli.
You can check out two different variant covers for Archie #31 down below in our gallery, along with five pages from inside the issue. The main cover by artist Audrey Mok can be seen above.Â
