Our pal Anthony Bourdain has been popping up in animated shows for the last few years, but we have to admit it will be awesome to see him do so in Sanjay and Craig this week. The adventurous chef takes his trip to Lundgren seriously with a side of hilarious. In the upcoming episode, his alter ego, Anthony Gourmand, the host of Craig’s favorite TV show, Foodventurer, is on the hunt for the ultimate food – snake. The chase is on, and Sanjay must do everything in his power to protect his reptilian pal Craig.

“I’m a mega fan of Sanjay and Craig. I’ve seen absolutely every episode,” says Bourdain told the New York Post via e-mail. “This is a show I wish had existed when I was a kid. It has all the elements that I looked for in my childhood for entertainment and was deprived of — stinky stuff, farts, toilet humor, gross stuff. Awesome.”

In case you haven’t been a huge watcher of Sanjay & Craig in the past, that snake pal Craig is voiced by our very own Chris Hardwick. So, if you’ve ever wanted to see Anthony Bourdain, who as we know from his visit to the Nerdist Podcast a few months back, is skilled in some serious martial arts, chase after Hardwick (even if only in animated form), well, this will be right up your ally. Here’s what you have to look forward to:
