Another Round of Leslie Jones’ GAME OF THRONES Live Commentary with Seth Meyers

Some people :raises hand: watch Game of Thrones in complete silence with their phone turned off. Seth Meyers, on the other hand, loves to follow his friend Leslie Jones as she live tweets new episodes on Twitter. However, he wasn’t able to do that during this past weekend’s fiery episode, as Jones was too sick for her usual tweet-a-thon. But instead of submitting to defeat, Meyers opted to take this opportunity to watch the show in a way he enjoys even more: bringing Leslie Jones onto Late Night so they can watch together, complete with her live commentary. Thus, we bring you the second ever installment of “Game of Jones.”

This is the second installment of “Game of Jones,” after the Saturday Night Live star joined Meyers for a viewing of last season’s “Battle of the Bastards.” Once again, Jones’ genuine excitement and love for the show–along with her inability to pronounce any character’s name correctly–were on full display. Only this time Meyers invited a very special third person to sit in with them.

That’s right, Conleth Hill himself–a.k.a. “Varies,” according to Jones–showed up in costume and a bald cap to eat lots of popcorn and defend himself when Jones questioned exactly where his loyalties lie. But as great as that was, nothing beat her reaction to Daenerys showing up to the battle with Drogon. This is pretty much how tens of millions of viewers also looked on Sunday night.

Sometimes a picture says more than any comment can, but we’re glad to have had both. Personally, we’d love to hear Leslie Jones’ theories on Gendry’s return, or a waterlogged Jaime Lannister’s chances of survival. What do you want to hear her weigh in on?
