Amy Hennig Joins Visceral Games as Creative Director on New STAR WARS Game

We knew that Amy Hennig wouldn’t go long without finding a new home after her departure from Naughty Dog Studios last month, but no one expected her impending destination to be this epic. Hennig announced via twitter today that she will now be heading to a galaxy far, far away to join the team at Visceral Games to work on an upcoming Star Wars game.

When the first trailer for the cancelled Star Wars 1313 game was released, it received a slew of comparisons to the Uncharted series. So ,whether Hennig’s involvement with the next game is a coincidence or destiny is certainly up for debate; personally, we think it’s the Force. How do you feel about Hennig writing on the next Star Wars game. Let us know your thoughts in the comments.

  1. Mark says:

Seems like a solid fit – the Uncharted games have a swashbuckling, adventurous feel to them along with fun and enjoyable characters, similar to the early Star Wars films. Can’t wait to see how this develops!

  2. Very excited for this move! We all knew Amy would land on her feet, but that she found her footing at Visceral is just amazing. I am a huge Dead Space fan, and I really hope she ends up possibly helping them right that sinking ship of a franchise. After this new Star Wars IP, of course!
