ALL KINGS CONSIDERED: The Great Jon Snow Debate

Editor’s note: This video contains spoilers for Sunday night’s episode of Game of Thrones. If you have not seen it yet, we strongly urge that you do so or else you’re going to be what maesters refer to as a “sad panda.”

The realm is at war, and so are we. Welcome to an ideological battleground over the issues that matter to you most. Join our intrepid hosts Tripp Blackfyre (Dan Hodapp) and Megan Frey-Burlington (Madeline Walter) as they break down the biggest news coming out of Westeros, from across the Narrow Sea, and beyond on All Kings Considered.

On today’s episode, we’re talking about the elephant in the room. Or should I say the recently deceased Lord Commander of the Night’s Watch in the room, Jon Snow. On Sunday night’s episode of Game of Thrones, we saw Ned Stark’s bastard overcome multiple stab wounds and the afterlife to shuffle back on to this mortal coil. Was the Red God responsible? Is this some White Walker tomfoolery? Was it the work of the Seven? Only time will tell, but thankfully Tripp and Megan welcome the an ordained member of the Faith of the Seven to help them get to the bottom of it.

Plus, the snow may be falling up north, but the blood is also spilling. Reports coming from Winterfell indicate that Warden of the North and skincare expert Roose Bolton has been slain. Some say it was poison, a cowardly act by House Bolton’s many enemies. Others claim it was Roose’s bastard son, Ramsey, who did the deed, then proceeded to feed his stepmother and newborn half-brother to a pack of hunting dogs. Much like winter, the truth is coming, and our stalwart reporters aim to get to the bottom of it.

What do you think of the events of this week’s Game of Thrones? Who brough Jon Snow back? Is Ramsey a suitable replacement for Roose Bolton? Let us know in the comments below.
