Robotics. Engineering. Rad moving hats. Getting young girls involved in robotics and engineering. What’s not to love? Every bit of it is awesome.
All of those things collide in the final episode of Totino’s Adventure People!. We hung out with Saura Naderi, also known as Robot Saura. She’s an engineer who works for Qualcomm Thinkabit Lab. She loves robotics and making things move, she inspires and teaches young girls, and she does a killer Woody Woodpecker impression.
The video highlights Saura’s history and career path and her passion. It also shows off the awesome Del Mar Opening Day hat contest. Saura loved the elaborate hats worn on opening day of the races and decided to use that tradition to teach girls about robotics. They make spectacular hats with moving parts for the contest, and I want to invite myself over to learn alongside them.
If you were to style a robotic hat, what would you include on it?
