You love the Nerdist Podcast’s Jonah Ray, right? Yes, I know, you do. We all do. (Maybe Matt might not be… aw, yeah, Matt, too) Anyway, the dilemma up to now has been how to show just how much you love Jonah. Sure, you could rush up to him after a show and give him a hug, but what about those nights when you’re not anywhere near the man himself, or the restraining order is still in effect? Now, there is a way to do so from the comfort of your own home AND keep Jonah from having to go back to work in the borax mines again.
Jonah Ray merchandise is now available. Yes, you can now get official Jonah Ray t-shirts, mugs, and even beer (or soda, or seltzer, or whatever) can coozies, for yourself or as thoughtful holiday gifts for the ones you love, like, and/or tolerate. Through the good folks at Blue Collar Industries, you can now buy the following:
- Hello, Mr. Magic Plane Person, Hello t-shirts and coffee mugs: That design of the Trojan Jonah on the cover of his latest recorded release, now on an American Apparel 100% cotton t-shirt or an 11-ounce ceramic mug. Goes great with the vinyl version.
- Bad News Penguin, “Night & Dawn & Day of the Dead,” and “Overratediohead” t-shirts: Show your taste in comedy with these.
- A “Best Ideas EVER!!” beer can coozie: As Jonah taped his set list to a beer bottle, so can you keep your list right on your drink of choice. It’s a two-sided collapsable foam coozie designed with a graphic of a taped-on slip of paper on which you can scribble whatever the drink in question brings to your head. Actual ideas not included.

¡Hola Nerdmigos!
I know Chris has said his best friends are Mike Phirman & Wil Wheaton, and I’m sure Jonah and Miraboey have their specific best friends, but I’m curious do you guys think your friendship has increased from doing so many podcasts together or has it always been as great as it is? Or has it possibly gotten worse from being forced together so much? Also since Wheaton had an episode when will we hear Phirman’s, I wish to know more about this whimsical gent. Was there ever a “This is your life” with Matt at the Boston show?Is this quemment too long? Will it ever be answered on recorded-air? Will Dr. Sam Becket ever return home? Stay tuned next week folks to find out.
