A Botched GRAND THEFT AUTO V Mission Becomes an Epic Short Film

In the world of Grand Theft Auto V, anything can happen. That goes doubly so for the game’s profoundly chaotic online mode. Helicopters can get tangled in power lines, pedestrians can get mowed down by speeding convertibles, and one wrong turn can send you hurtling through the air. In the case of YouTube’s Boris the Blade, he transformed an assassination mission gone awry into a truly breathtaking, action-packed short film.

What is truly impressive about this short, entitled “The Hit,” is that it was made using the in-game Editor for the PC version. All of the actions were performed in-game and show the potential that the title has to invigorate a new generation of machinima filmmakers.
