  1. Richard says:

Sir Pete…. speaking of Rob Bell guest suggestions…  while on your show he mentioned an Irish philosopher that would be great.  I’m assuming he was referring to his buddy Pete Rollilns.  In which case, yes, DO IT!  It would be a great convo.

  2. big jim slade says:

“It’s like a when a stoners parka smells like weed”.  hahaha good one Pete

  3. ZZLaowai says:

another unbearable liberal smartguy who’s chorlting away as he judges and dismantles the obviously stupid religious people. Start renaming the show ‘You Made me Discard Traditional Christianity for Quasi-Eastern American left-leaning faux-intellectual chortlers”

  4. Kevin says:

Great podcast. I was delighted and amused from start to finish. “I helped build Kepler.” D’oh! Keep it crispy, Pete!

  5. Katie says:

    O’SchooledHA!

  6. Josh says:

This was amazing!!! I love every episode but this was so fantastic. Not sure why you wrapped it up after an hour? Could of easily listened to him for 3 hours. Thanks Pete

  7. noah says:

Pete Holmes, this is one of the best podcasts of all time in my opinion, it is on my top ten.

  8. Evin says:

    Pete,
Best episode yet. Please keep branching out of show business; you’re bringing some incredible minds to us. Much love.

  9. Bee Coo says:

Pete you were wrong about Jesus being the first to say, ‘Love your enemy.’ It was the Buddha 500 years before:

“Even if bandits were to savagely sever you, limb by limb, with a double-handled saw, even then…live projecting thoughts of universal love to those very persons, making them, as well as the whole world, the object of our thoughts of universal love — thoughts that have grown great, exalted and measureless.”

  10. Joe says:

Hey Pete! Great episode! I sincerely love your laugh, and I’d much rather you be free with your merriment than try to bottle it up.
You are the great one,m nab .’ Keep doing what is toy flie to ti.

  11. George says:

First Cosmos, and now this. Giordano Bruno was not a scientist. He was a mystic who believed the Sun was God. Quit perpetuating this myth. Bruno has no real connection to scientific thought.

  12. Mickey says:

Wonder if a laughing muffler could be placed on Pete Holmes microphone. He’s a good interviewer but a bit distracting hearing chuckles every 15 seconds. Only wish I could find so many things as funny as this fella.

  13. Taufiq says:

The sketch Pete references to in the Gentry episode is from Mitchell and Webb look. Have David Mitchell on YMIW. British Comedian and he is fantastic. Not a usual guest but i think would be great. Love the Pod Pete! Keep it crispy.

  14. jeekbleek says:

The Dave Hill episode was great but it’s irritating how you go “people will yell at us if we say the brain thing” as though it’s something that’s up for debate or whatever. I know there’s this dumb new Scarlett Johannson movie STILL parroting the silly idea that we only use ten percent of our brains, but it just isn’t true. Of COURSE it’s not true. Think about it for five seconds, it’s crazy. It was never based on anything. Google it. Five seconds.
Facts exist, Pete. God dammit. I don’t understand why that doesn’t matter to you. Did you see that article the other day about how scientific studies have shown that too many antioxidants in your diet can actually make cancer WORSE?
    http://medicalxpress.com/news/2014-07-antioxidants-cancers-dont.html
Why does it seem likely that your nutrition expert buddy is not going to assimilate this new information? You’ll never run out of cool true stuff, why this need to supplement it with garbage?

  15. Elliot says:

After waiting all week for you to make it weird in my ears again I felt cheated before I’d even listened that this was only an hour and nine minutes. An hour and nine minutes later I feel soooo satisfied.Another perfect podcast my my mindspace. The blinking light of opportunity puts into a sentence a thought process that took me over 5 minutes of inner monologue to achieve just last night
