Greetings! Love the podcast, love Ole Petie Pants and I’m loving this interview, but I’m only half way through and have to comment on the whole “man defends women” conversation. Specifically, where is the woman in these scenarios? While the guys are debating whether or not to get into a fist fight with a stranger who grabbed their girlfriend, is the woman just standing there helpless? I’m asking because the last time some jerk grabbed my ass, I just thrust my elbow back HARD and got him in the gut. It’s NOT difficult.
As for domestic disputes, I’ve intervened twice – one turned out to be a woman screaming over a bug and the other the guy was being abusive – and, yeah, it’s scary to get involved, but better to step in and do SOMETHING, ANYTHING then to try to live with yourself for just standing by.
My two cents. YMMV.
Shame on you for comparing being de-masculated to being raped. That is completely insensitive. You have lost a listener due to your complete lack of compassion for the over half million women in the US alone, who have suffered from sexual abuse.

Pete I absolutely love your spiritual discussions, but I feel like you’ve already answered your own questions. Your whole bit on magic can be applied to these discussions. Leave a bit of wonder in your lives, stop trying to explain everything, and enjoy the ride.
Wow, what a dynamic duo of guests. Just a pity they had other appointments because I could have done with a good old epic 2 and a half hour YMIW episode of you three bantering up a storm.
I almost passed this one up because I don’t know too much about them, but I’m glad I decided to listen. Your chemistry was fantastic!
And I appreciated the decent and understanding discussion of being trans (though you obviously couldn’t go very deep into the subject without having an actual trans person there).
I haven’t kept up with KATG much since they broke up (relationship wise) years ago, but they were one of the first comedy/talk show podcasts I was ever aware of and to this day remain one of the best. If you haven’t heard their show before you really need to check them out.
Easily in my Top 5 shows if not #1. Let’s make Keith, Pete and the Girl happen.

The observer effect happens because of the act of measurement.
For an electron to become detectable, a photon must first interact with it, and this interaction will change the path of that electron. It is also possible for other, less direct means of measurement to affect the electron.
