i gotta stand up for Seinfeld here. His observations ARE social commentary. Pointing out that our society will not only accept, but celebrate more and more cheese stuffed into our pizza IS social commentary! “WTF is wrong with our culture?!” is what Seinfeld is saying in so many of his bits.

Please don’t portray Seinfeld as this light and shallow comedian. His entire act is pointing out the absurdity within our society. That’s importatnt comedy!

Maybe you are using Seinfeld as a symbol for the past “you” and what you personally are moving away from. Please recognize this and give Seinfeld his credit as an important social commentator.

His stuff is way deeper and critical of our society than it gets credit for.

I love you Pete and Eddie

I LOVE when you talk about dreams! Do it more often! Yours are so weird and fascinating, Pete! I would love if you talked more about lucid dreaming, for those of us who are new and trying and not doing so well at it! Also, it’s weird to me that melatonin worked so well for you. I’ve taken it before and it did absolutely nothing for me. I wish I would’ve had an experience like you!

  3. K says:

I really needed these laughs today. Thanks.

  4. This was a great episode, a real kinship between the two of you. Their acts are surprising similar in philosophy just with different delivery systems. Was awesome to see you guys in Melbourne.

Love the “phone” bit and the “Just breathing air on a rock in space Bob!” bit. One of my all time faves

Shit you not – one of my apartments in nyc was right next door to a scream therapy doctor who had converted his studio apt into an office. I never heard a damn peep from the place (he apparently had spent tons of money on sound insulation) but I would bump into patients coming in and out of sessions during the day. All very nice friendly people who I got to know better after awhile because they multiple weekly appointments. Sometimes I would catch them leaving right after a session. They looked like they had been extremely worked up but with a content relieved expression on their face. So intriguing!
