   I’m veery late to the party here, but a thought on Glee/Modern Family etc. making gay relationships more acceptable to the public. I don’t think these shows would be made with these messages unless the tide was already starting to turn that way. People are just responding to something most of them already agree with, and the shows strengthen that these things are normal. A lot of the hate for gay people etc. comes from misunderstanding and not having a positive example to base it on – that and most likely a hateful personality. Loved this show by the way, just a thought I’ve had mid listen!

   I so relate to the “always feeling everything” comment. I have that so bad, it’s hard to function sometimes. I sometimes have to totally numb myself in order to interact with people, because I just soar on every high and get shoved down by every low, whipped around by the emotions of those around me like a plastic bag in the wind or a bird in a storm. Hopefully one day I’ll learn to ride those gusts…For now I use music, comedy podcasts, and romcoms, and try to surround myself with the most stable, breezy people possible.
