Yahoo Screen Adds Dan Harmon’s Commentary to COMMUNITY Season 6

Attention Greendale Human Beings! Yahoo Screen is giving you a reason to go back to school!

Yesterday, Yahoo Screen unveiled “Communitary,” which gives fans the option of watching all 13 episodes from Community Season 6 with commentary by series creator Dan Harmon. This is part of Yahoo’s new wave of publicity for Community Season 6. Eventually, the sixth season of Community will likely hit DVD and Blu-ray. But first, Yahoo is going to take a few more bites from the apple!

This weekend, Yahoo is also running a “Communathon” event at The Princeton Review testing centers nationwide which gives fans the chance to win $5,000 after taking a Community trivia test.

While Yvette Nicole Brown stepped down as a series regular of Community, the sixth season added Paget Brewster and Keith David to the cast to help fill the void. Joel McHale, Gillian Jacobs, Danny Pudi, Alison Brie, Jim Rash, and Ken Jeong stayed with Community for its first six seasons.

The future of Community is a little murky at the moment. Technically, Community has not been canceled and Yahoo Screen reportedly would like to do another season. However, McHale recently pointed out that the cast is no longer under contract, and it would be extremely difficult to bring everyone back now that their careers are taking off.

That said, a Community movie remains a very real possibility, but there are no concrete details about that at the moment.

Community fans, will you check out Harmon’s “Communitary” on Yahoo Screen? And are you holding out for a movie or another season? Let us know in the comment section below!
