A preview of the latest film from the rag-tag group of crime-fighting mutants known as the X-Men will be screening before the most recent chapter from the intergalactic heroes fighting in battles we lovingly refer to as Star Wars. In other words, a trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse will be screening before Star Wars: The Force Awakens next month.

Along with the trailer announcement, there are some choice quotes from writer-producer Simon Kinberg that reveal new plot details from the upcoming flick. The mutant formerly-known-as Mystique will be beefing up her involvement in the adventures, as Raven has to live up to the precedent she set by dropping a football stadium on the White House in Days of Future Past. We also get some hints as to the ways Quicksilver’s parentage will come into play when Apocalypse starts recruiting his four horsemen. And on the lighter side of things, let’s all bask in the glory that is Jubilee’s bright neon shopping mall outfit.
