The X-MEN Cast on the Absolute Worst Mutant Powers

In X-Men: Apocalypse, we finally see one of the biggest, baddest, and bluest baddies in the X-Men canon make his big-screen debut. But how does he get rugged good looks of Oscar Isaac, you ask? Simple — he transfers his consciousness into that body, a power that Apocalypse has wielded before in the comics. It’s a fascinating concept and a good power to have — one that Ryan Reynolds can’t seem to stop exploring in his non-Marvel movie work — and one that I couldn’t resist posing to the cast of X-Men: Apocalypse. So when I sat down with the likes of Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Olivia Munn, Sophie Turner, and Evan Peters at a press day in London, I had to ask who in the cast they would most want to project their consciousness into. The best part was learning that Michael Fassbender, in addition to being a stone cold fox and a supremely talented actor, is also basically a walking, talking jukebox. Who knew? And speaking of superpowers, we decided to double down and ask the X-Men not what mutant power they would most want to have, but what would be the absolute worst mutant power to have? Surprisingly no one said, “constantly sneezing out spiders,” which would be my waking nightmare.

X-Men: Apocalypse opens on May 27, 2016.

Who in the cast would you want to swap bodies with? What would be the worst mutant power to have? Let us know in the comments below.
