Win Tickets to Jerry Bruckheimer Q&A Screenings in LA

Jerry Bruckheimer is one of the most prolific and successful producers in Hollywood, making big action blockbusters, taut thrillers, and some of TV’s most popular programs (C.S.I., The Amazing Race). This weekend in Santa Monica, CA, the American Cinematheque will be hosting a retrospective of only some of Bruckheimer’s vast body of work at the Aero Theatre.

On Saturday, December 14th, at 7:30pm, there will be a double feature of Bad Boys and The Rock, both directed by Michael Bay, which will feature a Q&A between films with Bruckheimer himself moderated by Geoff Boucher. Bruckheimer will also be signing copies of the new (and not yet released) book, Jerry Bruckheimer: When Lightning Strikes – Four Decades of Filmmaking by Michael Singer, in the lobby.

But that’s not all! On Sunday, December 15th, at 7:30pm, there will be another double feature of Bruckheimer-produced films, Thief directed by Michael Mann, and American Gigolo directed by Paul Schrader. As another added bonus, because the American Cinematheque rolls like this, there will be a Q&A with Michael Mann between films.

Tickets are available to both of these events, but are going fast. However, if you’d like the chance to win one of three pairs of tickets to one of these shows, we’ve got you covered! Simply write, in the comments below, your favorite Bruckheimer-produced film and specify which night you’d like to attend. You’ve only got until this Friday to enter, you must have a valid email address, and you must live in or be able to get yourself to the L.A. area for the screening.

It’s an action explosion this weekend with the Hollywood heavyweight who’s been doing it for 40 years. Enter today, or be left gutted.
